OUR MISSION

The mission of the Vincent Jackson Family Foundation is to provide support to military and civilian families, focusing on their overall wellness.

PROGRAMS YOUTH IN ACTION CAMP

The goal of our Youth in Action Camp is to emphasize health and physical activity while giving military youth a way to meet people and make new friends.

PROGRAMS DANNY DOG TAGS

LIndsey and Vincent Jackson authored a series of three children’s books designed to help kids and their parents cope with some of the challenges military life may bring. The Danny Dogtags series includes Dealing with Deployment, Soccer Superhero, and A Cool School Story.

PROGRAMS ANNUAL MILITARY MOMS BABY SHOWER

Our annual Military Moms Baby Shower provides expecting families with an experience they might not receive otherwise, as many are stationed far away from family and friends who would traditionally host a baby shower for them.

PROGRAMS MIND MASTERS

The goal of our Mind Masters Wellness Workshop for rising middle schoolers is to help them build mental and emotional resilience as they continue to grow.

Donations

When you give, you provide support for programs that positively impact the educational, emotional, and physical health of military children and families.

PROGRAMS & EVENTS

YOUTH IN ACTION CAMP

We host an annual Youth in Action Camp every June on MacDill AFB for more than 100 kids ages 6-14 who are members of a military family. The one-day camp includes games and activities, boxed lunch, camp t-shirt, and more.

MILITARY MOMS BABY SHOWER

This annual event provides essential baby gear, expert parenting advice, and a chance to build community for expecting military families. The application period for this year is currently closed.

MIND MASTERS

All Bay area middle school students are invited to join us in August for Mind Masters, a wellness workshop helping youth build emotional resilience, mental strength, and healthy coping skills.

OUR STORY

Vincent Jackson, the son of two military parents, was shaped by discipline, education, and a deep sense of responsibility to serve others.

A standout student-athlete who later became a successful NFL player and entrepreneur, Vincent and his wife, Lindsey, founded the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation in 2012 to support military children and families through programs centered on their educational, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Vincent passed away in 2021, but his legacy continues through what is now the Vincent Jackson Family Foundation, led by Lindsey Jackson and their four children.
