MILITARY MOMS BABY SHOWER
The Military Moms Baby Shower began in 2014, inspired by Lindsey Jackson’s experience of becoming a mom far from home. Recognizing that many military families go through pregnancy without nearby support, the event was created to celebrate and uplift expecting military families. Each year, our shower provides essential baby items, meaningful connections, and a sense of community for military families navigating parenthood away from family.
MIND MASTERS WELLNESS WORKSHOP
Mind Masters is a wellness workshop for all middle school students, whether they’re from a military or civilian family. The goal of Mind Masters is to get the students who attend thinking about how they handle mental and emotional stressors and how to incorporate healthy coping strategies when faced with stress, pressures, and challenges.
YOUTH IN ACTION CAMP
The purpose of our Youth in Action Camp is to encourage military youth to remain healthy and physically active, even in the face of challenges such as relocations and deployments. Hosted annually on MacDill Air Force Base, the one-day camp includes games and activities, boxed lunch, camp t-shirt, and more.
DANNY DOGTAGS
Lindsey and Vincent Jackson authored a series of three children’s books to help military families navigate the challenges of military life. Each book, centered around emotional, educational, or physical health, encourages open conversations between parents and kids. The stories follow lead character Danny Dogtags as he experiences both the hardships and victories of military life.

PAST PROGRAMS
			SALUTE TO READING
The Salute to Reading program was an incentive and recognition program designed to award students at the elementary level for reading improvement as well as their commitment to reading. The program was implemented in the three elementary schools that contain the majority of MacDill Air Force Base personnel’s children: Ballast Point, Chiaramonte, and Tinker Elementary Schools.
			SALUTE TO SCHOLARS
The Salute to Scholars program provided scholarship money annually to military dependents graduating high school in Tampa Bay and in the Colorado Springs area where Vincent spent his high school years. The program also awarded scholarships to veterans, as well as spouses of veterans and active duty service members. Over the 12 years of the program, the foundation provided approximately $90,000 in scholarship funds to military dependents, spouses, and veterans.
			OTHER PROGRAMS
The foundation has operated many unique programs, including the Military Family Home Makeover where the family of a deployed mother was surprised with home renovations. We have also hosted an employment symposium and job fair for military veterans, a back to school event for students on MacDill Air Force Base, and much more.
